Random Acts of Kindness Month Principal’s Pantry Food Drive

Principal’s Pantry: One Box. One Community. Big Impact.

What is the Principal's Pantry?

Principal’s Pantry is an ongoing Duchesne County School District program that supports students who may not always have access to regular meals at home. Some children rely on food that is simple enough for them to prepare on their own — even as young as five years old. This program exists to ensure those children have something safe, reliable, and nourishing when they need it most.

This year, we have selected Centennial Elementary as our focus school, with plans to support a new school in the district each year. Centennial Elementary has also committed to sharing any extra meal bags with other schools, helping extend care and support to even more students across the district.

How is OTS Helping?

OTS is proud to support Principal’s Pantry by donating alongside our employees and serving as a collection and coordination partner for this effort. Donation bins will be available at Stewarts and Davis, as well as at our office, and will be checked regularly by our team. OTS employees will collect the donations, carefully assemble the meal kits, and deliver them directly to the school at the end of February.

Principal’s Pantry is sustained through community generosity, and schools across the district rely on donations to keep this program available to students in need. We invite our community to get involved and help ensure this vital support continues. Every donation helps provide reliable food, dignity, and care to children who depend on this program.

How Can You Help?

You can make a meaningful impact by donating non-perishable food items that are nutritious, kid-friendly, and easy to prepare. For some students, having food they can safely make on their own is essential. Donations should not require refrigeration, can be prepared independently (microwave, hot water, or ready-to-eat), and provide enough calories and nutrition to help students get through the weekend.
